6/26/11

Today was a long day. I’m pooped. Last night, I made it till 8:00 pm and then crashed out. Didn’t wake up till after 10:00. That night of no sleep did me in. My son woke up around midnight and got up for the day. He was still awake when I woke up this morning.

I didn’t want to do anything today. I was just wanting to relax, but I had to head up the hill to drop off Christian. I had to go to the lake to meet her. We didn’t leave until about 3:00 because I had to get money for Christian to have and gas. He tried sleeping on the way there, but wasn’t really successful.

We found her at the lake and then my other sister and her boyfriend showed up on their boat. I think I stayed a couple of hours, but I was tired. I gave everyone a hug and headed home. What wears me out is the hour drive there and back with the heat especially. The other day, I used my air conditioner and my car started to overheat. That’s something I need to get fixed.

Came home and laid down for awhile. tried calling B, but he was sleeping. He did call me back though and I went over to visit him for a couple of hours. Came home and now am checking in online. I’m not as tired as I was at the moment.

Tomorrow it’s back to work. The weekend wasn’t long enough for me. Next weekend is a three day weekend because it’s the fourth of July. That will be nice. I don’t really want to be driving around though. I will go pick up Christian, but don’t want to stay there long. I don’t like staying the night at people’s houses. I just like being home in my own bed.

I’m curious to see if Christian lasts the whole week. My one sister doesn’t have the internet at her house. He’s not used to that at all. He didn’t take his XBox either, so he may have technological withdrawals. I would hate to go pick him up after work, but I will do it if he’s found himself bored.

Tomorrow is already the 27th. I can’t believe how fast the month went by. As I get older, the time is going by so much faster. I’ve got to get some work done this week because it’s the end of the month. Closing time. That means I’ll probably be at work overtime this week. That’s okay because Christian is up at the sister’s house so I won’t worry about him sitting at home all day by himself.

I think it was only about 100 degrees today, so that was good. Hot, but not as hot as it’s been lately. The summer has just began though. There are many hot days ahead of me. I’m lazy lately, I’ve got to get out of that. I want energy to do things.

Well, I guess I’m going to try to get some sleep. Back to reality tomorrow.
