Yesterday, Friday, went by pretty quick for a Friday. Usually it goes by slowly. The whole week actually did. I'm glad because when it drags, it sucks. Didn't have too much work, but kept busy all day. It was a co-worker's birthday, so her mom brought in a cake for her birthday that we got to eat. It was quite sweet and my stomach couldn't really handle it, so I only ate a little.
Went to drop off a prescription at the pharmacy after work. It wasn't too hot. It's cooled down a bit. I wonder if it will stay that way or if the heat will come back. It usually tricks us and comes back. Came home after that and got on my computer to chat with my new friends. One guy is from Iowa and another from San Diego. They are both very nice. I just love meeting new people.
Last night, Friday, I had not much to do. Just went to bed early and then woke up later like I've been doing this last week. Got on the computer and messed around then went back to sleep to wake up again and eat some cereal and go back to sleep finally till 7:30 this morning.
I got up and did my computer thing then went to pick up my prescriptions. The only time I left my apartment. I do that a lot on the weekends. Only leave once or twice the whole weekend. What can I say, I love my weekends to myself. My sister did want me to come over to her house which is an hour away, but it's just still too hot to travel in.
So, I just lounged pretty much all day. I fell asleep for awhile and then woke up, so now I'm back online chatting once again and playing the game on the site I've been going to a lot. It gives me something to do. Tomorrow I think I will do laundry. No other plans though. Just enjoy the day before I have to go back to work again. Hopefully this week goes by quick too. It really has lately. It's nice.
Today was our college here in town's football game. The bosses gave us tickets if we wanted to go, but I didn't go. One reason was I didn't know about it till the last minute and another reason I just didn't want to go and spend more time with my co-workers. I see them all week long. I guess it was probably fun, but no biggie that I missed it. It was really nice of our bosses to do that though. The tickets aren't cheap I think.
B has bronchitis, so he's been off work all week. He finally went to the doctor and got some antibiotics on Wednesday and found out what was wrong with him. I'm surprised I didn't catch it because I was around him last weekend. Thankfully I didn't. I don't want to be sick at all. I need to work, I don't have lots of sick pay saved up. Plus, no one really knows how to do my job.
Its' 12:45 right now in the morning and I've already woken up once, so we'll see how many more times I wake up through the night. I'm not really tired enough to go back to sleep right now though, so I'll be up for awhile. I'm just doing things on the computer. I'm so glad I have a computer. The best invention yet!
