Thursday has come and gone. I'm glad Friday is so, so close. I had a pretty good day. Worked on my payroll and some other stuff. The receptionist went home sick, then her replacement had a doctor appointment at 3:30, so I had to man the fort up front answering phones from 3:00-5:00. Talk about boring. I think you all know how much I hate to answer the phones. Makes me wonder if the receptionist will be in tomorrow. Probably not. There is a flu bug going around at work I guess. I've had my flu shot, but so have others and they still got sick. Hope I don't get it.
After work I went to the dreaded grocery store and bought items that I need. I was lucky because it wasn't too crowded and I made it out of there pretty quickly after I got all my items together. I was very happy about that. I came home and about 10 minutes later my sister nearest to me called. She talked to me for almost 3 hours. It gets annoying the way she goes on and on. Especially when we live so close. She gets some wine in her and she's a talking machine.
Well, it's almost 2:00 am. I woke up a couple hours ago and couldn't get back to sleep. Fell asleep around 9:00. I've been doing this a lot lately. Waking up and not being able to go right back to sleep. I think I will lay down and try to sleep soon.
