Woke up at 11:00 today. Not too bad. I went to bed at 3:00 this morning. Only 8 hours of sleep. I usually sleep for 10. I'd rather sleep for less like 7-8, but my body does the waking up. That's why it's so hard for me to get up in the morning. I don't go to bed early enough. If I went to bed for the 10 hours I need, I'd miss all the shows on T.V. though.
Just on the computer for most of the day. I've mainly been on MDJ. Got on DS for a little bit. I need to go back there and read some journals. Need to read journals on MDJ too. I'm just a busy body on these bipolar support groups. I enjoy them though, so it's all good. It gives me something to do. I save money be staying home on the weekend except for this weekend since I went out and bought birthday presents. I bought most of them at Ross though, and that's a discount store and the other one I got at Khol's for 60% off. That was a deal!
This afternoon I braved the rain and I got my dirty clothes ready and headed to the laundromat to do my laundry. I sit in the car and write while the clothes are washing and drying. Just stupid stuff about my days. Kind of like a journal. Things I write in here. Stuff that happens during the day. Nothing in particular. I got me a Starbucks while I was there. I went through the drive-thru because I didn't want to walk in the rain. It took forever too.
I came home after that and of course got back on my computer. I talked to B last night. He was playing his game World of Warcraft like he always does. He's getting pretty far in that game. He's met some pretty cool people too. I'm happy for him that he's found a hobby that he likes so well. It saves him money on the weekends too. He's the one that inspired me to stay home and not spend money. It's helped, but I really don't have money to spend really.
Tomorrow is back to work. I have a lot to do actually. Well, I always have a lot to do. There is tons of billing to do, but first I have to get the rail cars out of the way. The railroad is screaming for their money and Scott is the one that gets screamed at, so then he bitches to me. So, I better get that done 1st thing tomorrow. I also have to do some transfers and some A/P.
The people I work with are okay. Most of them I like. There is a lot of favoritism though. The guys (traders) get anything they want. They are paid the most obviously because they are the traders. They take as many days off as they want, but basically in the office, if you are a guy, you get what you want. The girls, (office staff) don't. We are lucky if that we get lunch for free on Administrative Day.
The started a firewall at work awhile ago. Can't get on facebook, youtube, or listen to online music. I don't know what started that little happening. Maybe they think we aren't working, we are just online all the time. We shell out a hell of a lot of work though. If we want to get on those sites, we used to be able to. Now we can't even get on for breaks or lunches. It sucks. Mary and Regina in the office used to watch Netfilx on their lunch hour, but they can't do that anymore because of the firewall. There is a password though and I bet all the guys get it. That wouldn't surprise me at all.
Enough of my ranting. I am lucky to have a job though and I love my job and the company I work for. We really are spoiled there. We get free snacks, soda, water, coffe, tea, etc. All provided by the company. I think they spend like $600.00 a month on that stuff. We also have a gym we can use on site. We have T.V.s too, so we can watch T.V. on our breaks if we want to. I can basically smoke when I want and do what I want. I can walk away from a project if it's getting too stressful for awhile and come back to it later. It's great.
Today I feel pretty good, but I'm not around any people. People sometimes irritate me. I get mad when Paige in the office sneezes. My teeth grind whenever she does. She does it so much. All day long. I get tired of saying bless you. She won't take an allergy pill either. I've suggested it to her a couple of times. She was gone Wednesday till tomorrow, so it was nice last week not hearing her sneeze.
